Surgo, RAND, and Black Equity Coalition Launch Data Tool to Track COVID-19 Inequities

New Tool Will Track Inequities in Testing, Hospitalizations, and Deaths in Allegheny County, PA

WASHINGTON, May 26, 2021—Today Surgo Ventures, the RAND Corporation, and the Black Equity Coalition (BEC) launched the Allegheny County COVID-19 Vulnerability + Inequity Tracker (ACCVIT), a new interactive tool that assesses the state of COVID-19 testing, cases, and deaths in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and allows users to visualize disparities and opportunities to address inequities in Allegheny County’s COVID-19 response.
