Role Summary:
We are seeking a Recruiter to join our team and manage the main stage of our hiring process.
In the Recruiter role, you are expected to evaluate and screen potential candidates to fill vacant positions in the company. A key element of this position is the ability to attract highly-competitive and best-fit candidates for the job. Success in this role will be determined by providing an increased number of qualified candidates and retention rates.
You will be responsible to utilize different channels to search for potential candidates, reach passive candidates and build talent pipelines for future employment needs. You will proactively recognize our hiring needs and assist us in filling our open vacancies with qualified workers.
If you have strong administration skills and can work in a fast-paced environment, know how to source via social media and various qualifying networks and enjoy learning about various roles, we’d like to meet you.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Interact with potential candidates via social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Slack and Github).
Identify the profiles of qualified candidates proactively for future vacancies
Promote our employer brand on online and offline platforms
Collaborate with hiring managers and determine position prerequisites.
Craft and update job descriptions
Prepare job offer letters
Organize candidates’ data in internal databases
Design candidate experience surveys and analyze feedback
Perform background and reference checks
Measure conversion rates which include the number of passive candidates who transform into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired
Coordinate interviews and be the primary source of contact for applicants
Organize our employee referral process, including asking for referrals and managing bonus requests
Assist with new hire onboarding as needed
Required Skills/Abilities:
3+ yrs experience as a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Coordinator, HR Generalist or similar role
Hands-on experience with sourcing strategies
Strong negotiation and sales skills
Outstanding time-management skills
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
Basic knowledge of labor legislation
Experience using professional social networks (LinkedIn, in particular)
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
