As a Senior Manager at Surgo, Pulkit manages a US-based portfolio, ranging from public health initiatives to post-Covid recovery. He is passionate about finding new policy-relevant whitespace in which to shape new initiatives that are at the intersection of impact and Surgo's unique empirical skillset. Across initiatives, he is excited to build partnerships and strategies that translate Surgo's tools and insights into actual policy that improves lives.

Pulkit has spent the past decade of his career in end-to-end management of global health programs, working across various domains — including nutrition, maternal health, and HIV/TB — in Malawi and India. Most recently, with IDinsight, he supported the government of India to build stronger behavior change strategies for improving the nutritional health of mothers and children. He believes there are many practices and lessons from how global health works which the US can and should benefit from.

Pulkit has a B.A. in Public Health and a minor in Global Poverty & Practice from the University of California, Berkeley.
