As a senior research scientist at Surgo, Nick combines two key technologies--geographic information systems (GIS) and artificial intelligence (AI)--to transform data into visual, actionable information for communities and policy makers. He is passionate about applying science and technological advancements to improving the lives of others.
Nick holds a Ph.D. in Geosciences and Remote Sensing from the University of Nice, a Dual MS in Earth Sciences and Geotechniques from Michigan Technological University and the University of Blaise Pascal, and a BS in Geosciences from the University of Pittsburgh.
