Surgo Ventures releases ranking of the 20 U.S. counties deemed ‘Delta danger zones’

Counties are concentrated in seven states: Georgia, Texas, Missouri, Tennessee, South Dakota, Arkansas, and Florida

WASHINGTON, July 22, 2021 — Surgo Ventures has found a correlation between U.S. counties that were already vulnerable to the health and socioeconomic consequences of COVID-19 and facing significant barriers to COVID-19 vaccine rollout with those being hardest-hit as the Delta variant of COVID-19 spreads—with 20 counties standing out as “Delta danger zones” that need immediate attention.
