As Surgo’s behavior change consultant, Neela helps design and test behavioral interventions around the globe. Previously, she was the founding director of Ashoka University’s Centre for Social and Behavioral Change, which designed and enabled evidence-driven communication interventions for low-income and marginalized populations in India.

Neela has a Ph.D. in marketing from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
