As executive assistant, Brittane provides comprehensive support for Surgo co-founder and CEO Sema Sgaier. She is passionate about helping ambitious leaders and teams achieve their objectives, and believes that remaining flexible, proactive, strategic, and calm is critical to managing complex calendars and high-stakes relationships.

Brittane brings 17 years of administrative experience, including nearly a decade supporting C-level executives in areas of health policy and law. While at NACCHO, an association serving every health department in the nation, she assisted the chief of programs in organizing the White House-backed Shots at the Shops initiative, which funded Black-owned barber shops and hair salons to help boost COVID-19 vaccinations by promoting informed decision-making.

Brittane is a certified paralegal and a licensed notary in Washington, DC.
