Role Summary:

We are looking for an energetic Analyst who is passionate about applying a  critical thinking to a wide range of strategic and programmatic projects who can  get things done.  Surgo is working deeply with a few clients  to build our first  product that will  meet the most pressing needs in healthcare.  As an analyst, you will be a key part of the  team helping to execute these projects and  shape the future of how our products deliver value to clients.  You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to exercise strong analytical skills, solve complex problems, and communicate findings to executive audiences. 

What you’ll achieve:

  • Support in project execution , including coordination across cross-functional teams, leading the development of client deliverables, and  supporting project management Support  product scoping and new business developing   by analyzing  context and industry and working with the team to pitch novel approaches that leverage Surgo products/capabilities to solve complex healthcare problems

  • Analyze scientific literature and healthcare landscape,   to inform recommendations on how Surgo’s analysis and products can support achievement of client goals, health outcomes, and health equity. 

  • Develop compelling communications materials for executive audience including pitch decks, concept notes, and findings summaries. 

About you: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred

  • 2-5 years of relevant working experience

  • Strong project management skills. Has a sense of ownership over project completion and a bias towards action. Is detail oriented, and is a good team player who can work across cross-functional teams.

  • Strong critical and strategic thinker with deep intellectual curiosity. You enjoy connecting information and identifying patterns and new insights You have  demonstrated ability to bring new ways of thinking about problems. 

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills. You can create compelling (PPT) presentations that synthesize data in a structured, clear, well formatted way to explain a narrative. You can work with a diverse range of stakeholders and manage partnerships.

  • Familiarity with the US healthcare market across payers, providers, life sciences companies

  • Preference for technical product knowledge or specific domain expertise in  healthcare  and data analytics. 

Location: Headquartered in Washington, DC / This role is a hybrid role based in DC with 2 days/week in office. Travel: Up to 5-10% travel expected
